Testing the new Road TR I ran into problems I ran into problems right away.

First create simple closed nurbs curve. (clockwise point clicks)


Next activate Road Tr. Set random width. Change lanes from 0 to 2. Note that the number of lanes is wrong. Also, the surface normal is facing down.

The Shingles tool in LWCAD 2018.31 for LW (Windows 64bit 2019.5) doesn't appear to work like the videos show.
In the video, the shingles apply only to a roof object and they look correct. For me, unless I select the top roof polygons, shingles are applied to the ENTIRE object. They are also angled weird and have end caps placed wrong.

I've sent bug report, but want to see if anyone else has this issue.

Create a LWCAD Box
Seelct the LWCard Round corenr TR tool and a apply a value as required.
Result is the corner polygons disappear.

Applied the same tooll to a LW BOX and the results are worse

When selecting between 'Line', 'Curve' and 'Round' inside the Pipe Tool.. 'Round' option no longer seems to work.

Does anyone have problems importing Dxf files? I'm saving out of Acad a 2d Dxf to use with LWcad 5.51, sometimes is works most of the time it doesn't.

I've run into an issue while trying to edit a box made with Nurbs. Both the Offset Tool and simple Extrude aren't working for some reason. In the images below, I recreated a nurbs object similar to the one in the Ver 5 Nurbs introductory video. After rounding the edge, I was able to extrude and offset the surfaces without any problem. The middle box was made with the polygon option and it offset

New project, create a couple of planes, a circle, and a line, making sure they intersect. Grab the line tool, set INT snapping, and try to snap to intersected lines. I re-installed 2018.1 and it worked fine. Then re-installed 2018.3 again and it didn't work. All the other snap types work fine.

Created a nurbs cylinder and applied round to one end.

Result: the round has no nurbs surface, the edge is transparent and no visible nurb surfaces in viewed in Texture mode or Wire.

Any one else have this issue?

still can't use lwcad 2018 due to high polygon count and it seems not to be getting soughed out

Using LW 2018.0.7 win 64 on Windows 10 with LWCAD 2018.1

Unless I'm doing something wrong, it seems railings when set to spline or curve the inner (sub posts) do not smooth the same as the top and bottom rails. So they do not connect properly.

I'm hoping I'm just doing something wrong...as this would be great if it worked properly. Loving all the options here.

I've been using LWCad almost since the first version. This has been a problem since the Round tool was first created. When using it on oddly shaped intersections the corner part gets deleted. In the case below entire edges also get deleted. This leads to a lot of work to fix the problems.

There is still a high polycount having installed lightwave11.06

Crash when executing a SUB operation using the Line tool (crash report sent to NewTek)

1 - Create a simple cube with the Box tool
2 - From e.g. the Top view, enable the LWCAD Line tool, set mode to SUB
3 - LCLICK outside the mesh to establish the UCS plane and starting point
4 - LCLICK outside the mesh to e.g. cut off a corner of the cube
(crash)

there wasn't any feedback the last time but even after installing the latest version, the round tool still seems to be broken.
