hi,
lots of great new tools and features in 5.5 (using it in lw 2018 )! thanks!
but this does seem to be a kind of rough version without the polish that i was used to seeing in the last version of lwcad i was using (3.6 in lw 9.61).
projection snapping doesn't seem to work. i don't get projection lines anymore from second snap.
in extrude, "groupping" is mispelled. should be "grouping
hi viktor,
i noticed this while i was playing with the new update and encountered it a couple of times in passing now but just figured i must be doing something wrong... but i do think it's lwcad-
when i perform a round on the top of a rectangular piece of geometry, the edges at the corners pull apart. even on corners where it's not visibly tearing as shown, the vertices end up unwelded.
Hi
When you have Center snap set in the snapping panel and you draw a line to a rectangle object it won't snap to the center of the object. It works for curves, Circles and Polygons but not for the rectangle tool.
Steps
Draw a rectangle
Make sure center snap is activated in the snap panel
Draw a line to the center of the rectangle it won't snap to the center.
Just tested it in V4.51

Hi
I bought a model from a third party that was almost all tri's. When subdivided, it caused lots of non smooth surfaces, so I manually removed the 'extra' diagonal, to form tri's.
Easy but time consuming - Is there a tool/algorithm or easy way to this?
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Just downloaded trai. and I am having some issues.
I am using winows 10 3d max 2016.
The UCS auto snapping is not working. I followed your tutorial on making wall and a second floor then a roof.
The roof did not snap to the second floor. UCS would not update.
Then I tried just using the primitive boxes and adding more boxes on top. Again UCS would not update.
I have UCS set t
No way to test it. Mac version even doesn't start - "The plugin c4d_lwcad_5.dylib has carshed" etc.

Hello,
The "clone" panel in my lwcad 5.2 is empty. No commands. What is wrong?
Hi
When you go to change the step height of any of the 4 stair tools in the numeric panel it won't work. The height adjustment line just disappears and the numeric value's won't change.
Steps
Create stairs using the line stair tool
Adjust the height of the stairs in the right viewport using the orange line
Now click n on the keyboard
Try adjusting the step height in the numeric pane
It was already the case with LWcad previous releases when snapping features:
LW cad actually sees hidden geometries (in active layer or background).
With V5 and following and the new selection system this problem becomes really unworkable around, eg:
ctrl click empty space on screen selects all geometry, even what is hidden; when working on an heavy layer/object this turns into a nightm
UVs are broken when using the offset tool on polygons.
It worked previously quite well in LWcad 4 with a nice linear interpolation, very usefull...
it needs a fix Asap !
thnks,
Romain
Viktor please go here: http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?152975-LWCad-5-2-snap-move-question to check out an issue with move snap in 5.2. Everything you need is in that link. I like the clone feature of the new move snap but it just won't move geometry as effectively as 4.51. Please consider some adjustments to the tool. Thanks.
When you use the move snap tool with cloning, you can't adjust the height of the clone.
Steps
Create a box with the box tool
Us the move snap tool
Press "n" on the keyboard to open the numeric panel
Turn on cloning
Clone your object going down from the top viewport
Now go over to the Right viewport
Try clicking on the handle to make your clones go upwards or step
