Does anyone have a suggested workflow to get site contours into LW. I have tried to bring dxf file in with LWCAD but it seems to be a problem

I can't find road / lines and Crosswalks , but no roads tool. Only the two options under infrastructure.
What am i missing...help says it should be there but it isn't.
Any help would be appreciated. Its the same for Lightwave 2015.3 and 2018...

I'm using LW 2015.3

I have an issue with the window tool. It seems to work properly except the extrusion does not fill the newly created hole in the walls. I have to do it my self once the window is in place
Any clue ?

Has anybody got the corner windows to work has seen on the LWCAD 2018 for LightWave video

I have a question about some shapes lib. I am running into an issue where I don't see the items in the shapes lib panels. It see the folders and list the shapes but doesn't draw the orange wires or even draw them in modeler when trying to use them. Is it because they are in sub folders?

The only way to make it work is by taking them out of sub folders and placing them in the same folder abov

I have both LW 2019 and 2020. I've tried installing LWCAD 2018 in both, but can't get it to show up in any of the menus. I followed the instructions and I found a youtube video that also showed how to install the menus, but they still don't show up on either LW install.

Can someone please help me figure out how to make this work?

I have watched your video on lwcad 2018 updates can you tell me what format the floor plan is in has I have tried and cant get lightwave to import a dxf floor plan

I've tried all older versions of LW and it seems that LW 2019.0.3 and since 2019 released, the dimension tools don't seem to leave their distances in the viewport any longer.

LightWave version 2018 worked fine.

I have tried deleting all configs and starting from scratch in 2019 and it makes no difference. Also have tried all OpenGL modes to see if that made a difference, but it didn't.

Hello ! I'm trying to draw curves on a mesh, I want the curves to "stick" to the surface and follow the shape of my mesh. I remember having done that with a previous verions of LWcad but I can't find the right settings in the snap to get the line tool to follow my background geometry anymore.

I'm not able to configure LWCAD menus in Lightwave 2019.1.5. I've manually installed plugins , but the menu configuration doesn't work. I've added a Youtube link below showing my attempt to configure. You can see that no menu items appear. Is there another way to display the plugins? I'm not able to use LWCAD at all. Thanks. It seems that with a spiral staircase greater than 360° the railings (or the curve associated with it) is not drawn greater that 360°. It draws the railing/curve evenly spaced between the top and bottom stairs but not the full length of the stairs.

I just wondered if it's possible to get export for CAD formats like STP or IGS. It would be great to start something in LightWave, then move to another CAD program if I need a tool LWCad doesn't have.

I installed plugins succesfully (can even activate LWCAD using the LWCAD options plugin ) but i can't get the menu tabs (Alt+10, "menu branches", ...)

I am using lwcad 2018.3 and lightwave 2019.1.4 and I can save a window design to archviz and it appears in the library but then when I close it and then re- open it is not saved can someone help me on where im going wrong

Is possible to have tool that covers all common shapes of beams (IPE, HEB, UPN, rectangle, reticulated, etc) in a parametric manner and save the preset?(like the new windows tool or railing tool)?. Would be nice if is possible to draw it like the pipe tool.
