First off thank you for everything you have done with LWCAD . Its kept me using Lightwave for years. I would have been done with it long ago if it wasn't for you.
That being said. Lightwave is done. 2018 version of Lightwave proved to be the biggest waste of my money. I have used it since the Toaster days, and now the product is decades behind.

I just found an old LWCad 2.5 video on YouTube. The Polygon Primitives tool used to have an Auto Complete function, which was very nice. It seems to have been taken out at version 3.6 or 4 what was the reason it was removed? It appeared to work fine in the video. It would still be a nice feature to have.

what's the future for lwcad for lightwave 3d is it dead. Could you try and bring it to one version of Blender say version 3.0 has I know it keeps getting updated with Blender you can download old versions so if you pick just one version it can be downloaded in the furture.

I am having and have always had a problem with the background layer snapping. As I am using the line tool to trace over some lines in the background to create nurbs patches it is not snapping, I have played with the setting in the snap panel but it seems to ignore the background.

Hi all,

I have a model with about 12 different buildings. They all use the same windows. They have the same size polygons onto which the windows should be applied. Is there a way to apply a window preset to multiple polygons at once?

I haven't used LW or LWCAD for a long time but wanted to pick it up again. When I try to download it I am told that my serial number is wrong although it's the one I received in a n email. I have tried to make contact by email but have had no response.

I would like to request an addition of controls for the second dash or line.

As of now you can only do dash + solid line, and it doesn't accomplish what I require; short dash and long dash.

The short and long dash next to each other is standard markings in, or through curves to signal that it is unsafe to overtake on that stretch of road.

Solid line is seldom, if ever, used for such.

Does anyone have problems importing Dxf files? I'm saving out of Acad a 2d Dxf to use with LWcad 5.51, sometimes is works most of the time it doesn't.

Does anyone have a link to a site that gives typical standards for things like wall thickness & height, door height & width, thickness, eave overhang, etc.? I've done some searching but quickly got bogged down with too much technical & regs.

Does anyone have a copy of LWCAD 3.61 for Lightwave 3D? I recieved it years ago and never used, but need to now. But I cant fine it to download. Can anyone help me out?

Can someone please go over how to create a nurb surface, and patch surface. I don't understand this.

A question as to how to reset the volume calculation on an object.
I have made changes to an object and the volume is no longer correct but I can't clear it to re-calculate the volume.

How do I clear the volume numbers and start over. I have tried copy and pasting to a new object but the calculations come along as well.

I just thought I would mention that in the most recent LWCAD newsletter I received it says a 2nd developer has now been hired and one of his jobs will be "porting LWCAD to other 3D applications". I'm hoping that it means LWCAD tools will be ported to Modo in the future. What do you think?

In your website you say LWCAD is coming to all major 3D apps. Does that include Maya, or preferably in my case, Modo, at some point?

I am currently on LWCAD 4, but if I upgrade to LWCAD 5, will there be another purchase/upgrade to LWCAD for other host apps or is LWCAD 5 considered a "one license for all" ?

I would like to see tools for LWCAD on Layout
