Stairs can be created in LWCAD and so can stair rails, but it would be good to have balusters from the each of the stairs to the stair rails. Can this be done?

There is no simple click solution for this right now.
You can create baluster on the plane with the Fence tool.
And you can create railings with clone tools and Profile tool relatively easy.
But there is no specialized tool for this.
