I can't find road / lines and Crosswalks , but no roads tool. Only the two options under infrastructure.
What am i missing...help says it should be there but it isn't.
Any help would be appreciated. Its the same for Lightwave 2015.3 and 2018...

Not sure why there is no answer here.. I have since found out its been removed. Why are we losing options?
Offset works, but no shoulder marks and generally more work. I uninstalled 5.5 and went back to version 4. Its not in 2018 either.
I understand that it may be in the process of being updated, but why not leave the old version in until then.
Also the ROUND tools in version 4 works a charm. Inconsistent results in 5.51.

Please clarify. I am holding off in 2018 upgrade. Need some of my old tools back.

Yes, the Road tool was temporarily removed, because it did not work with the new NURBS engine that has been replaced since version 5.
It will be back during the current 2018 development cycle.

I apologize for this, but you can still use the Offset tool which is almost the same as previous version of the Road tool.
You only need to do it in two steps.

Anyway, the new Road tool will be much more complex flexible, you will be able design a road on the terrain and create it with NURBS quad patches, that help with UV mapping a lot.

It will work very good along with the new Terrain tool.
