I've always had issues using the Smart selection tool so hope someone can set me straight. With the new release, I'd really like to get a handle on some things. I've watched the vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZBinS5QLaE any number of times and I'm able to select edges OK, but when I try to deselect just one by clicking as Viktor shows, they all deselect. I've tried various key combo's, all with the same issue. What's the secret? With just a simple curve or line, all of the Smart Edit tools except Extrude allow me to select & perform the function. If it's a closed curve, then it will. The Edit Tools extrude works for that, but that's really confusing to have that in the Smart Tools panel frankly. What am I missing for this? Thanks.
