Hello
I would like to request the addition of a LWCAD version of the Lathe tool. Since Lightwaves native tool doesn't work on LWCAD curves, it is necessary to convert them to LW lines in order to do the revolving, and then only in polygons. Also LW's tool doesn't have the benefit of LWCAD's snapping and is hard to use at times.
I've come up with a work around where I draw a profile using LWCAD splines or curves and then use the Radial Clone Tool followed by the Edge Join Tool to get rid of the double lines that result. Next, I run the Patch Tool to loft the profiles to get a nice nurbs surface. Although this gets the results I want, It's very cumbersome, so it would be great to have a new tool that does the trick in one simple command. Thanks.
P.S. If there is a hidden way of doing this already that I have not yet discovered, please let me know. : )
