Perhaps someone can help me with the pipe tool. I am not new to LWCAD, but never really used the pipe tool before.
I cannot get the pipe tool to draw around corners?
Example, take a cube, start drawing on one plane or face then click on the next plane or face, in this case 90 degrees to the original. I will not turn. Always stays on the original plane. Tried resetting the tool, reinstalling, UCS on off auto. What am i doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the link to what i am trying to achieve...it was possible in version 3....can't seem to get it to work in 5.2. Maybe its because the nails are no longer present.
But can't get offset to move it away from the wall..
Finally have it bending now. But not spaced evening like this video shows.

Hi Gary, I am new to LWCad so I may be of limited help here. I was posting a question relating to adding windows when I saw your post. I had toyed with pipes a bit last week (just trying to understand the new tools I've purchased!). I wasn't able to get the pipes to move around corners either when I first tried, only in the perspective view. But, when I switch to a top view to make the corner I am able. By switching views I was able to draw piping all over the base shape I created, both straight and at some arbitrary angles along the wall. I wasn't able to get the offset to work correctly along the different sides, it seems to work only in one direction from my testing.

I just tried this a bit more, and by turning UCS off I was able to make the pipe work correctly in a the single perspective view. As I am new to LWCad, that is I went to Cad5 Create: UCS:More: UCS Off 5.2. At which point, as long as the new point was near an edge, LWCad would properly wrap it around the box.

Thank you for your post. There is a bug in the tool. I managed to get it to turn corners as well. But there used to a option called nails that allowed you to pin your offsets...
I have talked with Victor through emails and samples of whats wrong and he said there is a bug and functionality lost from a previous version.
He told me he will fix it for the 5.3 release.
Victor is fantastic to deal with and confirmed the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to try it , if you look at your offset on your handles, they are facing the wrong way. This is one of the bugs.

Ok, this is fixed now! (LWCAD 5.2037 BETA)
Now when UCS is disabled, you can draw pipe on objects with offset.

Beta is not yeat public, so you have to wait until we start with next public testing phase for LW version.
