Maybe I'm not getting how this works, and I'll admit I miss the simplicity and reliability of the old Vector Clone tool.
The thing I have the biggest problem with is cloning an object in the scene, but finding that I cannot adjust what face and point on the object I need to have aligned with the line. The fixed point where an object is cloned to the line is the centre of the bottom edge of the negative Z facing polygon.
Sure, I can turn an object to set this up, but this seems like a step away from the convenience and usability of the Vector Clone tool.
The Point Clone tool has a rotate option. It would be good to have a uniform rotate for the Line Clone tool as well. That would resolve much of this missing functionality.
