I would love to see support to import STP or some other cad format since we now have spline support. At the moment I'm using MOI3d to convert to a 3d support, but being able to directly import would be awesome.

Export would be nice too, but not as high a priority for me.

Yes, of course. This is very needed and it is in our TODO list a long time.
But there is always something more urgent to finish.

Only way is to use our DXF import at this moment.
You can convert to DXF from all known CAD formats.
And our DXF import is pretty usable, compared to outdated LightWave DXF import.
