Hi Viktor. So I am a beginner C4D user with a background in Architectural Design. I have installed other Plugins into C4D easily (I can see these updated under "Plugins 4D). But I am just not luck with LWCAD. Maybe its not working for me because I am trying to use a trial version of LWCAD and I have not bought the Licence yet?

As the title says. Join is a very nice tool, but when I hide geometry and use it, LW crashes almost everytime with a critical error. (LW 2018.0.7, LWCAD 2020.1)

How does the new update work with Shape Libs from older versions, I see all my Furniture etc. in the instance Tab, but cannot add them. I can select a Window or sometimes a door handle and I can then replace them all with a bookshelf, but thats not how it used to be.
How can I add furniture, deco, Columms etc as easy as stairs, fence, railing, roads, and roof?

Trying LWCAD on LW 9.6, I can't complete the last step in the instructions (#6):
Open the “LWCAD Options” panel and set the "presets path" to point to the "Presets" folder.
I've added all four menu's:
menu1 Create.cfg
menu2 Modify.cfg
menu3 Edit.cfg
menu4 ArchViz.cfg
but still can't find it, please help!

Operating System: macOS Catalina - 10.15.7
Cinema 4D Version: Cinema 4D R23.008 (Build RB323902)
After placing the LWCAD 2018.92 C4D Beta folder into the Cinema 4D R23 plugin folder and launching the application, it does not appear in the extensions menu.
I also tried placing the same folder via the preferences option (within the edit menu), but that yielded the same result.

A LightWave crash consistently occurs when using the fence tool.
It happens immediately after placing the second point.
New to LWCAD after loading the 2020 plugins I can not seem to find them in the edit menu all i see is the 2018 ones. menu presets not showing as well.

I'm struggling to find an installation guide that correletes to the files I'm downloading. Not sure where to put my files.
Testing the new Road TR I ran into problems I ran into problems right away.
First create simple closed nurbs curve. (clockwise point clicks)
Next activate Road Tr. Set random width. Change lanes from 0 to 2. Note that the number of lanes is wrong. Also, the surface normal is facing down.

I have a model with about 12 different buildings. They all use the same windows. They have the same size polygons onto which the windows should be applied. Is there a way to apply a window preset to multiple polygons at once?
Does anyone have a suggested workflow to get site contours into LW. I have tried to bring dxf file in with LWCAD but it seems to be a problem
I can't find road / lines and Crosswalks , but no roads tool. Only the two options under infrastructure.
What am i missing...help says it should be there but it isn't.
Any help would be appreciated. Its the same for Lightwave 2015.3 and 2018...

The Shingles tool in LWCAD 2018.31 for LW (Windows 64bit 2019.5) doesn't appear to work like the videos show.
In the video, the shingles apply only to a roof object and they look correct. For me, unless I select the top roof polygons, shingles are applied to the ENTIRE object. They are also angled weird and have end caps placed wrong.
Is there a timeline set for the cad 2020 release date yet?

I have an issue with the window tool. It seems to work properly except the extrusion does not fill the newly created hole in the walls. I have to do it my self once the window is in place
Any clue ?

I've sent bug report, but want to see if anyone else has this issue.
Create a LWCAD Box
Seelct the LWCard Round corenr TR tool and a apply a value as required.
Result is the corner polygons disappear.
Applied the same tooll to a LW BOX and the results are worse

I have a question about some shapes lib. I am running into an issue where I don't see the items in the shapes lib panels. It see the folders and list the shapes but doesn't draw the orange wires or even draw them in modeler when trying to use them. Is it because they are in sub folders?
The only way to make it work is by taking them out of sub folders and placing them in the same folder abov
I have both LW 2019 and 2020. I've tried installing LWCAD 2018 in both, but can't get it to show up in any of the menus. I followed the instructions and I found a youtube video that also showed how to install the menus, but they still don't show up on either LW install.
Can someone please help me figure out how to make this work?

I've tried all older versions of LW and it seems that LW 2019.0.3 and since 2019 released, the dimension tools don't seem to leave their distances in the viewport any longer.
LightWave version 2018 worked fine.
I have tried deleting all configs and starting from scratch in 2019 and it makes no difference. Also have tried all OpenGL modes to see if that made a difference, but it didn't.
I haven't used LW or LWCAD for a long time but wanted to pick it up again. When I try to download it I am told that my serial number is wrong although it's the one I received in a n email. I have tried to make contact by email but have had no response.
Can you please help.
